Insurance inclusion and empanelment support

Most patients in the UAE are covered by health insurance, so a facility that is not in the right insurance networks loses a large share of its potential patients. Insurance inclusion, also called empanelment, is the process of being accepted into the provider networks of insurers and third-party administrators (TPAs). Levantine prepares healthcare providers for that process and supports them through it.

What we do

  • Identify the insurers and networks that match your patient groups and services
  • Prepare the application file: facility licence, trade licence, professional licences, price list, policies and service information
  • Coordinate submissions and follow-up with insurers and TPAs
  • Support the negotiation of service agreements and tariffs
  • Advise on claims readiness, including registration with the relevant electronic claims platform, such as eClaimLink in Dubai or Shafafiya in Abu Dhabi

Plan insurance from the start

For a new facility, insurance participation should shape the service mix, pricing and staffing plan, not be an afterthought once the doors open. We build insurance planning into feasibility and pre-opening work so that applications can be submitted as soon as the facility is licensed.

Existing providers

For operating clinics and medical centres, we help expand network participation, review stalled applications and reduce claim rejections that hurt cash flow.

Frequently asked questions

When can a new clinic apply for insurance inclusion?

Insurers generally require a licensed, operating facility with licensed staff, so applications are usually submitted after the facility licence is issued. Preparing the file in advance shortens the wait.

Is acceptance into a network guaranteed?

No. Each insurer decides based on its network needs, your services, location and pricing. We help you present a strong, complete application.

Do you help with claim rejections?

Yes. We review the main causes of rejection and help improve coding, documentation and submission processes.
